28A – Your Exit Strategy
First of all, I don't think I will sell my business for a large return. I also won't stay with this business for several decades and retire. The reason is that my business about the iPhone case plan has the long-term development. Even though we just focus on the iPhone right now, we will develop our strategy to other brands. So I intend to protect the venture as a family business and pass it to my children. My exit strategy has influenced the other decisions I've made in my concept. Like I said, I just want to focus on the iPhone in the beginning, but I decided to develop our business to other brands and system in the future for the long-term development.
27A – Reading Reflection No. 3
The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users, Guy Kawasaki
1) What was the general theme or argument of the book?
Just like the title of this book, the general theme is all about the importance of the social media. Nowadays, the social media determines the destiny of a company or a business, and the impacts of economic and human are huge.
2) How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003?
In my opinion, this book definitely connects with and enhance what I learned in this class. So far, I learned a lot about entrepreneurship, and I can find something is same or similar to the principle I learned in this class.
3) If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve?
Find an opportunity and make a development plan related to the social media.
4) What was your biggest surprise or 'aha' moment when reading the book? In other words, what did you learn that differed most from your expectations?
The diversity, importance, development, and impacts of the social media.
26A – Celebrating Failure
1) I'm not sure if this was a failure. I feel so hard when I record my first elevator pitch for this class because I'm not good at giving a speech. I almost gave up that assignment, but I finally make it even though I try it for more than 20 times. I feel like I need to challenge myself to do something I'm afraid to do, and I think I improve my presentation skills by doing that.
2) What I learned from it is that don't easily give up any difficulty you met. You can somehow learn something you cannot expect in the beginning by trying to solve those difficulties.
3) Failure is something we don't want to have at all. However, failures help us to find the weakness we have and to overcome and improve that weakness. How I handle the failure is that I try to encourage myself when I failed. I usually find a quiet place and calm down. Then, I think about the reason why I failed, what I learned from it, and how I avoid the same type of failure in the future.

25A – What’s Next?
Existing Market
Step 1: The next step of my service is going to develop the partnership with other groups and companies in this area to make sure we can survive in the existing market.
Step 2: I interviewed three of my classmates from my other classes who are iPhone and iPhone case users, and they also like to collect different cases. They all said that they only care about the price of the service and the quality of the iPhone case. One of them said that the next thing I should care is how to attract customers. He thinks we should focus on the advertisement next. Other two said we have to have the good designer for our phone case because they think they not only care about the quality and the price but also the appearance.
Step 3: Based on my own expectations and the feedback I received from customers. The next step we should focus on is still the partnership with other companies. They already have had successful experience in this area, and we can learn a lot by collaborating with them.
New Market.
Step 1: I have posted something on my previous blogs about the B2C market. I talked with my cousin Lin Wang about the WeChat business, and I also talked with Yang Li who is a manager in ZTO Express ( an express delivery company in China). I think B2C is a very good way to develop our business and service.
Step 2: Since we can design produce the iPhone by ourselves, we think we can develop the B2C market in the future.
Step 3: I interviewed two people from step 1. They all think our service is perfect for the B2C market. They told me how the WeChat business and Alibaba (known as Taobao in China). Those are very good example for B2C and C2C market.
Step 4: I learned a lot about the B2C and C2C market. I think those two markets are the future because more and more people are willing to shop online. I also think we would like to develop our service in those markets.
24A – Venture Concept No. 1
Forever personalized iPhone case service
My name is Aobo Jiang, and I come from China. I majored in Food and Resource Economics. I transferred from Santa Fe College two years ago, and this is my last semester here in the UF. I describe myself as a creative person because I always have so many ideas in my mind. Therefore, I think my talent is my imagination, so I always have ideas to deal with my troubles and to solve my problems I met. One of my aspiration is that one day I can be a successful businessman. Like I posted on my previous blog, I want to make a "forever personalized iPhone case" service. This business will play a role in my life because I personally like to collect different phone cases. I like to do what I interested in. I am offering to customers the high-quality and customized iPhone cases with low prices. My service is called "forever personalized iPhone case" service. Just like the name of this service, once customers use this service, they will get a brand new iPhone case when they get a new iPhone. Our customers can also sell their old cases to us so that they can save more. Those are why our service called "forever". This service solves customer's unmet needs in many ways. It provides good products to customers. People can get a customized and high-quality iPhone case once they get a new generation of iPhone. They can also sell the old cases to us to get credits for their future purchase. We also have a plan for people who like to collect different phone cases which can save a lot of money for them. I am offering it to people who like to use iPhone and iPhone cases. The common of my customers is that they are all Apple fans, and they like to use phone case. Also, the most important thing is that they want to save money in the phone case. They care about it because a good iPhone case can cost them more than 30 dollars, and they have to change to a new one once they change to a new generation of iPhone because of the different shapes. Also, for people who like to collect different cases, they even spend more. Our customers are willing to pay their money to buy our service because they can not only save money on their new cases, but they can also get the cases with high-quality and characteristic. My core competency is that we solve all the unmet needs of phone cases for our customers, so they don't need to worry anything about their phone cases. We make fashionable and high-quality cases, and we also recycle their old cases. Therefore, our customers can not only have good products with low prices, but they also avoid wasting. In conclusion, I do believe these five elements can fit together. There is a high percentage of iPhone users whatever in the U.S. or worldwide, and most of them are using phone case. Therefore, I believe there is a big market for this service in the future. Moreover, I got many useful feedbacks from my classmates. Two main points I got from the first idea napkin are about the monthly service and the Android phone. I think both of them are really useful. The monthly service is good for people who want to give this service a try and see what is this service going on. For the Android phone, I want to say that I want to focus on the iPhone first because like I said, there are more than 50% people are iPhone users, there is a big market for iPhone. Also, we are the beginners in this area, so we want to focus on one thing to make sure we can boost our success rate.

20A – Growing Your Social Capital
Domain expert:
1. The person I talked was my uncle Guangyu Li. He owns a raw material factory for small commodities in Wenzhou, China.
2. I am filling the domain expert with this person because he is a technical expert who knows a lot about the product I want to produce which is the iPhone case.
3. We know each other for a long time, so I just call and talk to him directly.
4. He is willing to solve the technical issue for producing the phone case, and he is also willing to have a partnership with my company.
5. Since I think he is already a successful entrepreneur, I can learn a lot from his business both in technical level and conceptual level.
1. For the market expert, I talked to my cousin Lin Wang. She runs a WeChat business (WeChat is a social software originate in China. She use this software to sell different products to people she knows or her friends know).
2. I am filling the market expert with her. She is targeting my market with similar products services, and she knows about the customer behavior.
3. I use WeChat to talk with her.
4. She can teach me how to do business in WeChat in order to develop the Chinese market.
5. I can learn something about the customer behavior and the online sales experience.
Supply expert:
1. Since our service is an online service, so I talked one of my father's friend named Yang Li. He is a manager in ZTO Express ( an express delivery company in China).
2. I am filling the supply expert with him because I have to have a partnership with the company like this to provide our service and products to our customer.
3. I can find this person because of my father's advice. He introduced this manager to me, and we communicated by email.
4. He is willing to introduce the whole industry chain about the express delivery in China.
5. Since I learned something about the express delivery service, I can easily know how to work with them to develop our service.
Reflection:
This experience definitely differs from my networking experiences in the past. I have to talk to someone I know or I don't know about the topic I have never think about before. These conversations with them are really helpful. Even I don't run a real business now, it gave me the irreplaceable experience than before. Therefore, I think this helps a lot if I run my service company in the future.
